John MacDonald has joined the Gallatin Group as a principal, expanding the firm’s public affairs, strategic communications and government relations practice in Helena. MacDonald previously spent 16 years with The Associated Press, most recently as the news editor for Montana and Wyoming. He is a Missoula native and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Montana.
