For more than 30 years, Marc Johnson has reported on and helped shape public policy in Idaho and the Northwest. He is an award-winning broadcast journalist, who served as press secretary and chief of staff to Idaho’s longest-serving governor – Cecil D. Andrus.

Today, as president of Gallatin Public Affairs, he assists clients in strategic communications and issues management. Johnson continues to write and speak regularly on topics including politics, history and the media.

Johnson currently serves as the volunteer president of the Andrus Center. He is the past chairman of both the board of the Idaho Humanities Council and the Federation of State Humanities Councils.
