ANALYSIS

When the partners of Phoenix, AZ law firm Rose Law decided to launch a Boise, Idaho branch, they called upon the media expertise of Gallatin Public Affairs to help generate headlines.

Effective brand positioning was a vital business objective Rose Law partners knew they had to achieve in order to duplicate their successful Arizona business model in the Boise market.

The firm’s goal: Develop a brand launch to position Rose Law Group Borton as the local leader in land use solutions.

ADVOCACY

Gallatin created and implemented a media relations campaign to create a favorable public opinion of the new firm’s business model and to establish its partners as Idaho’s leaders in land use planning and development.

The Gallatin media relations and strategic communications practice group worked with Rose Law partners and staff to implement the plan. They cultivated news stories and pitched to individual reporters.  They facilitated on-going relationships between local reporters and the firm’s partners.  Gallatin also promoted Rose Law Group Borton staff as expert sources for journalists to quote in future news stories.

ADVANTAGE

The plan resulted in extensive positive media coverage including several feature news articles and editorial board reviews. Rose Law Group Borton now has recognition within the Treasure Valley business community as a leader in land use planning and development. Gallatin continues to handle on-going media relations and issue pertinent press releases to keep the Rose Law Group Borton name in the news and maintain favorable media momentum.
