Gallatin Public Affairs Wins Idaho Press Club Awards



Gallatin Public Affairs won five awards in the Idaho Press Club’s annual news contest, including top honors for editorial writing and public affairs campaign.

The 2008 awards were presented Saturday evening, May 2, 2009 at the DoubleTree Hotel Riverside in Garden City. Gallatin Public Affairs competed against public relations firms, universities and public agencies in Idaho. Listing of awards:

Sydney Sallabanks, a principal in the Boise office recently gave a presentation on the nuances between marketing and public relations. In her guest piece on the Johnson Post, she offers thoughts on public relations and marketing - flips sides of the same coin really - and stresses that effective advocacy in a cluttered marketplace still requires the basics: clarity and honesty.
