The Miner
An Advocacy Specialist

“Building relationships and a coalition of support is the groundwork for a successful project or proposal. Whether working with Monsanto to obtain the permits needed to continue to provide America’s farmers with Roundup, or helping Dallas–based client Hyperion site the United States’ first new oil refinery since 1976, my approach is the same– be open and transparent, build a reservoir of genuine good will early, and tell your story.”

For more than a decade, companies and trade associations have called on Eric Williams to develop and implement campaign strategies and grassroots advocacy efforts to advance critical projects.

Born and raised in central Montana, home of some of the most renowned cattle ranches in North America, Eric uses his knowledge of natural resource policy and extensive experience as a consultant in the industry to help clients build support for projects and navigate State and Federal processes. Beyond his experience as a public affairs consultant, Eric worked as a reporter at the Helena Independent Record and later The Montana Standard. In 1997 he joined Environomics, Inc., a regional public affairs firm, where he worked until joining Gallatin.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Montana. He is a principal in the Spokane office of Gallatin Public Affairs and a member of the Natural Resources, and Issue and Grassroots Advocacy practice groups.
