When Karla worked with Avista to plan the annual Public Policy Forum her expertise in organization, time management and attention to detail were instrumental to the success of the event. Karla uses these skills everyday to help Gallatin’s Partners and Principals accomplish their client’s business objectives.
Karla works hand in hand with Partner Jeffrey Bell to manage and coordinate the Media and Presentation Training Practice Group. Being unprepared for a media interview or presentation can do more harm than good. Karla’s role in planning and organizing the training sessions is essential and assures that each client will walk away more informed, better prepared, and ready to connect with their audience.
Prior to joining the firm, Karla worked at Homewatch Home Health Care as an executive secretary. She handled various human resources responsibilities, including creating a new employee handbook and conducting new employee training and orientations, and as a Marketing Assistant at Murphey Favre a brokerage firm. Karla brings to Gallatin a broad range of experience in administration, marketing and human resources.
Karla is currently enrolled at Whitworth University where she is working toward an undergraduate degree. Karla lives in Spokane with her three children.
