Associate, Boise

208-336-1986

Emily Patchin is an associate for the Boise office of Gallatin Public Affairs.

In her time working with the Idaho Legislature during the 2010 session, Emily gained insight into the workings of Idaho politics. She spent a great deal of time researching legislation, talking and corresponding with constituents, and even presented a bill before committee on behalf of a Senator. Emily has always been involved in the political arena through helping with campaigns, taking multiple government classes, working as a legislative page during high school, and most recently interning for a Senator at the statehouse.

During her time in college, Emily also worked as a landscape manager at a local golf course in Eagle, Idaho. She hired and led a team of people to enhance and maintain the landscape areas on the course. Through the process she gained knowledge of how to effectively manage projects, motivate employees, and provide a product that the public would appreciate. The time she spent there greatly enhanced her organization, precision and communication skills.

Emily graduated magna cum laude from Boise State University with a degree in General Business Management. She also studied music and French, and studied a semester abroad in Lyon, France. As an Idaho native, she loves to be outdoors enjoying snowboarding, boating, hiking and golfing.
