The Operative
A Campaign & Outreach Strategist
“Working at high levels in the political and nonprofit arenas has given me the insight, skills and connections to be an effective public affairs professional. I look for the human connection in every issue and develop compelling and successful strategies to tell stories in ways that produce positive outcomes for the community and our clients.”
Prior to joining Gallatin, Anna Boone served as political director for U.S. Congressman Norm Dicks. Anna managed the Congressman’s successful 2010 reelection campaign and in-state fundraising, where she was personally responsible for raising more than one million dollars. On the campaign trail, she oversaw staff throughout the 6th District and developed the Congressman’s social media and online presence.
Anna also has a strong background in non-profit events and fundraising, serving as special events manager for the Girl Scouts of Western Washington and public events director for Friends of Seattle. She also served as fundraising coordinator on the successful No on I-933 statewide land-use initiative campaign.
Anna is actively engaged in her community and volunteers with regional nonprofits such as Seattle Works, serves as a Precinct Committee Officer for her local Democratic Legislative District, and chairs her alma mater’s regional alumni group.
She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she was one of only five graduating seniors to receive Honors and Distinction from the Political Science Department.
